Location of La Laguna Galapagos Hotel
La Laguna Galapagos Hotel is located specifically in Puerto Villamil on Isabela Island, which is the largest island in the Galapagos Archipelago. It has six large volcanic domes; one of these is the Sierra Negra Volcano, which is the most famous active volcano in the island.
Isabela Island is also home to the majority of exotic species that exist in the Galapagos Islands, such as flamingos, penguins, Galapagos giant tortoises, endemic Galapagos sharks, blue sharks, blue-footed boobies, sea lions, sea turtles, marine iguanas, and a wide variety of marine life.
Puerto Villamil is the name of the small town on Isabela Island where La Laguna Galapagos Hotel is located. The hotel is situated in front of the Flamingos Lagoon and separated from the pristine white sand beach by only two blocks.
You can get to Puerto Villamil by taking a speed boat from Santa Cruz Island, or by plane (USD 155,00 round trips) from the Baltra Airport to Isabela Island. (Ask for itineraries)
The speed boats to Isabela Island only depart from Santa Cruz Island (USD 35,00 per person and per way) and leave every day at 14:00 pm.
We can arrange the speed boat or air tickets all together with hotel reservations.
